Workshop on hybrid PV systems—"PV Horizon"
 

The team organized a workshop on hybrid PV systems, entitled "PV Horizon," whose goal was to identify R&D priorities in this area of PV. With nearly 70 participants from Canada, the United States, Europe, Japan, and Australia in attendance, the workshop focussed on defining the critical technical advances required to accelerate development in this key area. Members of the Canadian PV industry were given the opportunity to compare experiences with international experts. The workshop's achievements included identifying the main barriers hindering the expansion of the technology, as well as of factors that would help overcome these barriers.
