2012-04-10 – A session of the ''Energy Integration of Industrial Processes” Training Course'' was held from March 27th to 29th, in Fredericton, New Brunswick. The event was hosted by Efficiency NB, in partnership with the Office of Energy Efficiency (OEE) and CanmetENERGY.
About 10 people were trained during this event, the first in a Maritimes province. The participants, coming particularly from the pulp and paper, petroleum and forestry industries, including several Irving plants, were able to acquire the basics and expand their knowledge in the industrial heat recovery field using an integrated approach.
Since CanmetENERGY developed the course ''Energy Integration of Industrial Processes'', the popularity of the training keeps growing in Canada. Hence, two others sessions will soon be held in Quebec. The first will be held in Varennes, from May 15th to 17th, 2012 and the second in Quebec, from June 12th to 14th, 2012. Two other sessions will also be held this fall, one in Ontario and another one in Alberta. We invite you to visit our calendar of events for details.
