Clean Coal | Clean Coal Knowledge Centre

About the Centre
This National Knowledge Centre is an outcome of Canada’s Clean Coal Technology Roadmap (CCTRM), which was developed through a series of stakeholder meetings and workshops over a three-year time period. The CCTRM was published in 2005.
To avoid duplication and to foster collaboration in advancing near-zero emission coal technologies in Canada, the CCTRM advises that an information Centre be established to offer Canadian stakeholders access to information on clean coal technology research, development and demonstration activities in Canada and around the world.
The Centre's goal is to provide relevant, up-to-date information on clean coal technology developments to all stakeholders so as to allow informed investment decisions and to accelerate the development and commercialization of advanced clean coal technologies in Canada.
Mission
Our Mission is:
  • to enhance communication linkages;
  • to accelerate the development and commercialization of clean coal technologies in Canada; and,
  • to extend public awareness of clean coal technologies.
