Urban-scale grid-connected PV applications – Canadian participation in Task 10 of the International Energy Agency PV Power System Programme

Canada has joined forces with other International Energy Agency (IEA) member countries to design a new task pertaining to urban-scale grid-connected PV applications. This task focuses on the economic, institutional, planning and technical issues that need to be addressed to realize the vision of grid-connected PV becoming a reality in the urban environment. It addresses the needs of various stakeholders: the building sector, end-users, government, the finance and insurance sector, the PV industry, the electricity sector and the education sector.
