The City of Peterborough, in partnership with the local municipally-owned utility company, Peterborough Distribution Inc. retrofitted 124 social housing units (2, 3, and 4 bedroom townhouses and apartments) by replacing inefficient electric baseboard heaters with electric storage heaters.
