The Business Development Office seeks business partnering opportunities in the field of energy technology research and development. Whether you represent Canadian industry, government, a university, an NGO, an association or are an international entity, we can:

• Provide you with information about our programs and services;
• Determine if one of our programs is a good fit;
• Refer you to experts to assist with designing a solution to meet your energy needs;
• Facilitate the acquisition of rights to use CanmetENERGY technology; and
• Facilitate your participation in CanmetENERGY-led research initiatives.

The Business Development Office participates in several conferences and workshops each year; please contact us for a list of the events where we plan to have a presence. Periodically, we conduct tours of our research facility , please contact our tours organizer if you are interested in touring our facilities.

As part of our international climate change responsibilities, we manage the Clean Energy Portal , which houses a rich directory of Canadian technology providers. We also administer the Climate Change Trade Promotion Officer programs.

We are generally available from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Eastern Standard Time.
